WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) — Officials at Connecticut's Bradley International Airport say most afternoon flights have been cancelled because of the major winter storm hitting the region.

Bradley officials say there will be no flights in or out of the airport after 1:30 p.m. Friday. They're expecting 2 feet or more of snow.

Airport spokesman John Wallace said the exact number of cancellations wasn't immediately available Friday morning. He said most morning flights arrived and departed as scheduled.

Bradley, about 15 miles north of Hartford, has about 200 commercial flights a day and is New England's second largest airport after Boston's Logan International Airport.
