Afton teen, Bernice woman die of gunshot wounds

The name of the Afton teen has not been released.

Deputies think Jazmine Flynn, 18, of Bernice, shot the teen in a murder-suicide. Flynn was found dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound, Teel said.

The 16-year-old's mother found the two lying in a road. He was flown by helicopter to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa where he died, Teel said. He was shot multiple times.

The shootings happened about 4 p.m. Thursday near the Delaware-Ottawa county line.
