AG wasting taxpayer's money with political charade

When the Oklahoma Supreme Court unanimously strikes down a law it would seem obvious that there's no question that the legislation is dead, yet Attorney General Scott Pruitt, after losing on appeal in unanimous votes of our state's highest court, says he may pursue the cases to the U.S. Supreme Court. The two pieces of legislation under judicial review have to do with prohibiting the sale of so-called morning-after drugs and requiring a woman to have an ultrasound image of her fetus before opting for an abortion. These are matters best left up to women and their doctors, not the Legislature or the attorney general. It's a waste of the taxpayers' money to keep up this political charade.

As a pro-choice Republican, I call on our lawmakers and those who enforce the laws they write to quit wasting time and money trying to force badly written laws down the throats of the citizenry.
