Agent: Dodgers don't plan to trade Midwest City native Kemp

Coming off an injury riddled season in Los Angeles, Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp has been a part of trade rumors during the MLB winter meetings.


But Matt Kemp's agent, Dave Stewart, met with the Dodgers on Wednesday and was told the team plans to hang onto the star outfielder rather than trading him.

Kemp, a Midwest City native, is recovering from surgeries on his shoulder and ankle this winter and was on the disabled list three times in 2013.
