Schools are asking fans to wear black to basketball game Friday night that will also feature a silent auction and live auction.
Agra's Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Davenport Public Schools are teaming up to help Davenport third-grader Griffen Melson and raise awareness for Polycystic Kidney Disease on Friday when Agra and Davenport meet in high school basketball.
Melson was diagnosed in 2010 with PKD and will be treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
The schools are asking all fans to wear black to Friday's games, which start at 6:30 in the Wes McFarland Center in Agra.
During the girls game there will be a silent auction on various items.
A live auction during halftime of the boys game features framed autograph photos of former Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford; former Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon; former OSU quarterbacks Zac Robinson and Brandon Weeden; and a cowboy hat signed by both Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.
