/> Fox and CBS executives say inclement weather might help boost the ratings that won't need much help, not with an undefeated New England team and popular quarterback Brett Favre bidding to reach the Super Bowl XLll on Feb. 3.

"I've always gone into games looking for snow,” Fox Sports president Ed Goren said.

Goren had lots of it Saturday when the Packers routed Seattle, 42-20. It didn't hurt that his main attraction, Favre, threw a few snowballs along the sidelines.

"He's just a joy to watch,” Goren said.

While CBS likely would have preferred to have the Patriots playing the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in the AFC final, CBS Sports president Sean McManus is expecting a strong rating.

"It's tough for me to imagine someone turning off the opportunity to watch history being made,” McManus said.
