The Cardinals, who went only 9-7 in the regular season, will be seeking a berth in the 2009 Super Bowl when they host the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game at 2 p.m. Sunday on Fox.

"For the Cardinals — for a team that had lost four of its last six — I don’t think anyone outside that organization anticipated that they would be playing in the NFC Championship, or give them any chance that they would be going on to playing in Tampa Bay,” Aikman said this week in a conference call.

Aikman is expecting a large audience for the telecast from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
