Airline cutbacks may be producing customer declines for Tulsa airport

Airline cutbacks may be beginning to affect passenger loads at Tulsa International Airport .

According to June figures, departures in Tulsa dropped 4 percent over the same time last year.

The decrease is likely because airline flight cuts reduced overall seats this June compared with last June, airport spokeswoman Alexis Higgins said. "We have about 500 fewer seats every day.”
