Nearly 140 Frontier Airlines passengers had to change their flight plans Wednesday night after the airplane they were on got stuck while preparing to leave Will Rogers World Airport, an airport spokeswoman said.

The Denver-bound plane became stuck in a grassy area while backing away from the terminal about 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 139 passengers aboard had to exit the craft, airport spokeswoman Karen Carney said.

The airplane was still stuck late Thursday, and Carney said Frontier had not provided a timeline for when it will be moved. Normal operations have not been affected, she said.
