Alabama kicker gets supportive letter from former President

Leading up to the Sugar Bowl, the only clear advantage OU may have over Alabama is on special teams.

The Sooners trot out Bedlam hero Michael Hunnicutt, while Alabama will go with Cade Foster, who has had to deal with some ugly and abusive heat from fans after missing two field goals and getting another blocked in the Crimson Tide's loss to Auburn.



In support, fellow Texan President George W. Bush sent Foster a note following Alabama's stunning Iron Bowl loss.
