Alabama Rig is being banned at some bass tournament trails
B.A.S.S., the largest tournament fishing organization in the world, last week outlawed the Alabama Rig and other multi-lure rigs like it from use on its Elite Series tour and in next month's Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport , La.
The ban does not apply to its other events such as the Bassmaster Opens, B.A.S.S. Federation Nation and collegiate fishing.
