All-City Softball: Kayla Wyatt’s star rising at Purcell
PURCELL — There was no question the Purcell softball team was going to be among the best teams in the state.
With a bevy of returning starters and almost all of them either juniors or sophomores, this was going to be the year for the Dragons.
That is, of course, if the team could find a pitcher. As a freshman, Kayla Wyatt only threw 42 innings and was 6-3.
