Quy placed second in this event and helped lead the Tigers to a seventh-place finish in the team race. Also placed second in the 500 free. He will be a swimmer to watch next year.

Wilson Wei, Norman North
Junior200 IM

After knocking on the door the last two years, Wei broke through with a championship in this event. Also placed second in the 100 backstroke, and Norman North finished fourth.

Isaac McKnight, Chickasha
Junior50 Freestyle

There’s no slowing down for McKnight, who won the 100 and 200 free championships in 5A. He also set a 5A state record with his 50 free swim in the 200 free relay.

Sean Simpson, Edmond North
Sophomore100 Butterfly

On a loaded squad that placed second, Simpson stood out the most. He placed second in this event to go with a fifth-place finish in the 100 back. Lead leg of championship-winning 200 free relay team.

Paul Le, Southmoore
Junior100 Freestyle

Nobody made bigger strides entering the season from his sophomore to junior year.
