The story: Qualls led Edmond Memorial on a run to the state finals in one of the most competitive seasons in Class 6A in recent years. One of the top hitters in the state this season, Qualls is bound for Oral Roberts.

Jordan Spence, So., Edmond Santa Fe

Class: Sophomore

The story: The Wolves battled through the season with a young roster, but players like Spence provide great excitement for the future. The 6-foot-1 middle hitter was a force at the net during Santa Fe's 24-10 season.

Lauren Winslow, Sr., Christian Heritage

Class: Senior

The story: CHA finished 29-9 on the season with Winslow anchoring the lineup at setter. She worked seamlessly with the Crusaders' dangerous line of hitters on the way to a Class 5A semifinal appearance.

Coach of the Year

Kerri Cagle, Bethany

The story: Cagle's Bronchos fought through a tough schedule against teams from all classes to finish 26-9, reaching the state tournament for the first time in school history.
