A stretch of Broadway Avenue in downtown Oklahoma City was closed for more than two hours while police investigated a suspicious package.
The package contained miscellaneous items, none of which posed a threat, Sgt. Jennifer Morris said.
The package was reported about 4:15 p.m. at 20 N Broadway Ave. Broadway Avenue was shut down from Main Street to Sheridan Avenue until about 6:45 p.m., she said, but no evacuations were ordered.
The bomb squad was called to the scene as a precaution, Morris said.
