Player of the Year

Xavier Henry, Putnam City
→Position: G

→Height: 6-6

→Class: Senior

→Stats: 28.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 54 assists, 38 steals.

→College: Undecided.

→The game: Henry is considered by many to be the top player nationwide in this year’s class. He’s a Parade, McDonald’s, MaxPreps and Jordan Brand All-American. He missed the first part of the season after suffering a broken cheekbone in a preseason car accident but came back to lead the Pirates to a Class 6A title.

Lane Adams, Red Oak
→Position: Guard

→Height: 6-4

→Class: Senior

→Stats: 31.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 3.2 steals.

→College: Missouri State

→The game: Adams, also a standout baseball player, finished as the fifth all-time scorer in the state, with 3,251 points in his career. He helped the Eagles to a 30-1 record and a state championship.

Donte’ Foster, Guthrie
→Position: Forward

→Height: 6-2

→Class: Senior

→Stats: 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 46 assists, 64 steals, 35 blocks.

→College: Undecided.
