All-State wrestling: Four-time champion Kyle Garcia honored
Garcia sweeps Wrestler of the Year awards, and then trims Josh Walker of Tulsa Union in All-State match
Choctaw's Kyle Garcia, a four-time state champion, swept the State Wrestler of the Year awards that were presented before the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State matches Wednesday night at Whitey Ford Fieldhouse in Bixby.

Garcia was named the OCA Jim Thorpe Wrestler of the Year and the Oklahoma Wrestling Coaches Association's Wrestler of the Year.
The other nominees for the OWCA award were Claremore's Calib Freeman, Cushing's Kyle Knight and Perry's Matt Manley.
Deer Creek's Nolan Boyd, Comanche's Garrison McCauley and Bartlesville's Tim Hamilton joined Manley as other nominees for the Jim Thorpe Award.
In his match at 126 pounds, Garcia used a reverse with 1:05 remaining to tie, then came out with a 7-5 win over Tulsa Union's Josh Walker.
Tuttle coach Matt Surber was named the OCA Coach of the Year.
