MILAN (AP) — AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani will meet with Massimiliano Allegri on Wednesday to discuss the coach's future at the Serie A club.
Allegri steered Milan to third spot and a place in the Champions League qualifiers, but his future remains uncertain, with speculation of a move to Roma after criticism from club owner and former Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi.
Galliani says "I will listen to Allegri on Wednesday, understand what he wants to do and then together with the president we will make a decision in light of what the coach thinks."
Allegri, who has a year left on his contract, has led Milan to a first, second and third-place finish in his three years at the club. This season's third-place finish came despite losing an entire squad's worth of top players last summer.
