Allied Arts fundraising campaign sets record

Allied Arts is celebrating a record-breaking fundraising campaign, surpassing last year's total to raise $3,301,457 this year to support nonprofit arts organizations in central Oklahoma.

For the second year in a row, Allied Arts is celebrating a record-breaking fundraising campaign, surpassing last year's total to raise $3,301,457 this year to support nonprofit arts organizations in central Oklahoma.

The group announced the total during an event for donors and member agencies Thursday night at Gaillardia Country .

“Campaign funds support Allied Arts' efforts to ensure access to the arts for all by facilitating youth arts education, free and low-cost programming, and family-friendly events,” said Deborah McAuliffe Senner, Allied Arts president and CEO, in a news release. Judy Hatfield, Equity Commercial Realty, and John Richels, Devon Energy Corporation, were chairmen of this year's campaign. Announced Thursday were next year's campaign co-chairmen — Judy Love and Mike Turpen.
