County plans free flu shots

More clinics are set this week for Oklahoma County residents to receive free flu shots. About 2,700 people were vaccinated at clinics last week. The immunizations are free of charge, but the Oklahoma City-County Health Department will accept donations to help cover the cost of administering the vaccine. Shots will be given Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Midwest City Community Center, 100 N Midwest Blvd. They are available Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Shepherd Mall. For more information, call 419-4144 or go to: http://www.cchdoc.com.
