Amended Alliance contract awaits Oklahoma City Council approval

The Oklahoma City Council will be asked today to approve an amended contract with The Alliance for Economic Development to oversee deals that require public funding.

The contract first was submitted to the council two weeks ago, but a vote was deferred after complaints about the diversity of the board of the nonprofit and concerns about the lack of public scrutiny of the group's operations.
