Andy Alligator’s Fun Park will begin construction next month on a $1.3 million expansion, including a new 8,000-square- foot building that will have additional party rooms and new attractions.

The park, at 3300 Market Place in Norman, will also add a new rookie go-kart track for younger drivers.

“We’ve been looking at expanding for a couple of years and listening to our customers and seeing what they want,” said Kyle Allison, general manager for the fun park.

The new building will include three new birthday party and event rooms, and a centralized birthday party and event check-in area. The renovations will provide space for an indoor rock wall and a multilevel family-themed laser attraction. The expansion will also include new arcade games, a dining area and a kitchen upgrade with a larger menu.

Andy Alligator’s will begin the renovations in July, but will remain open during construction, Allison said. Construction is projected to be complete by the end of the year.
