Animal emergency expert to be event speaker

Veterinarian Leslie E. Cole will speak at the Women’s History Month Luncheon at Tinker Air Force Base. The luncheon is sponsored by Federally Employed Women.

Cole is a co-chairman of an animal emergency response working group of the Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management administrations. She also serves on a national committee on animal emergency management.

The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 31 at the Tinker Club.

The cost is $10 for club members and $12 for those not members.

The lunch is open to Department of Defense and federal retirees and others able to enter the Air Force base. Membership in Federally Employed Women is not needed.
