Anna Wintour to appear on TV's "The Fashion Fund"

Anna Wintour on television?

The editor-in-chief of Vogue will star  in the newest version of “The Fashion Fund,” a televised documentary about the Council of Fashion Designers of America/Vogue Fashion Fund competition. Viewers will get a peek at the behind-the-scenes process that goes into selecting the winner of the competiition.

The series ran on Hulu as a Web show three seasons ago, but viewers paid little attention. The new series consists of six, hour-long episodes that will air on Ovation TV beginning at 9 p.m. Jan. 22.

Wintour serves as one of the judges. The show also features designer and CCFDA  president Diane von Furstenberg, J. Crew president Jenna Lyons, Theory cofounder and chief executive officer Andrew Rosen, Jeffrey Kalinsky, Nordstrom Inc. director of designer merchandising and president and CEO of Jeffrey Inc., and Ken Downing, fashion director and senior vice present of Neiman Marcus.

It will be interesting to see if Wintour’s appearance will be enough to entice viewers.
