Annual Border War ball run set for Friday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The ROTC detachments from the University of Wyoming and Colorado State University will hold their annual running of the Border War football game ball on Friday.

Colorado State ROTC members will begin the run in Fort Collins. They will deliver the game ball to UW ROTC members around noon on Friday at the Wyoming-Colorado state border on U.S. 287.

After a brief ceremony and exchange of the game ball, Wyoming ROTC members will run the game ball from the border to Laramie. They are scheduled to arrive at War Memorial Stadium at about 5 p.m.

Wyoming hosts CSU on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
