Annual Friends of the Metropolitan Library System Booksale is this weekend at Oklahoma City's State Fair Park

The 34th annual Friends of the Metropolitan Library System Booksale is coming up this weekend at State Fair Park, 3001 General Pershing Blvd.

The 2013 sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Oklahoma Expo Hall.

Admission is free.

The members only pre-sale is set for 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in Oklahoma Expo Hall.

The sale will offer more than 600,000 books covering a wide range of subjects and priced for as little as 50 cents each.

Proceeds from booksale are used to purchase items not covered by the Metropolitan Library System’s budget such as funds for special programming, equipment and other needs.
