Annual Norman Conquest bike ride benefits J.D. McCarty Center

Bicyclists participated in the 18th annual Norman Conquest bicycle tour on Saturday to raise money for J.D. McCarty Center for children with developmental disabilities.

— Hundreds of riders from across Oklahoma participated in the 18th annual Norman Conquest bicycle tour Saturday to benefit the J.D. McCarty Center.

Proceeds provide scholarships for Camp ClapHans, an outreach program provided by the center for children with developmental disabilities.

The ride is sponsored by the Bicycle League of Norman and offers cyclists a choice of four routes ranging from 10 to 64 miles.
