Temperatures will be near 100 degrees Thursday in central Oklahoma with high winds.

Friday and Saturday could be cooler, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 7 a.m. Mostly sunny and hot with a high near 100. West wind 9 to 18 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is percent.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 72. East, northeast wind 7 to 16 mph becoming north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 93. North, northeast wind 8 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 68. North, northeast wind 6 to 9 mph becoming east, southeast after midnight.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 95. Light east, southeast wind becoming southeast 9 to 14 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 74.

Sunday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 96. Chance of precipitation is 2o percent.

Sunday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 73.

Monday: Partly sunny and hot with a high near 97.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 77.
