Another record night for Robinson

Trivia time: Who is Oklahoma State's single-season leader for total yards?

The candidates are: 1. Barry Sanders; 2. Josh Fields; 3. Terry Miller and 4. Zac Robinson.

It might surprise some people, but Robinson owns the record (3,122 yards) after leading the Cowboys to a win over Baylor Saturday night at Floyd Casey Stadium.

"Zac has played well, but he's benefitting from some good players we have,” said offensive coordinator Larry Fedora. "That's usually the case. He can only be as good as the guys around him. If you have good players around you then you can do a lot of things.”

In Fedora's spread offense, don't be shocked if many OSU quarterbacks push Sanders' jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind season down the school's single-season total yards list. The key is a quarterback who can run.

"There are better skill players in space and they're harder to tackle,” Gundy said. "(Spread offenses) are here to stay. It's not going to go away. People have figured out how to use the entire field.”
