Another slow start for the Thunder in loss at L.A.

Slow start is an understatement for what transpired in Game 5 at the Staples Center.

Opening the game 0-of-13 from the field, the Thunder fell behind 14-1 in the opening six minutes. The Thunder made its first field goal with 5:28 remaining in the quarter. For a change, a slow start lasted the entire first half as the Lakers’ suffocating defense contested nearly every shot.
