* LOCATION...ALL OF LAKE COUNTY AND ELEVATIONS ABOVE 9000 FEET IN

CHAFFEE COUNTY...INCLUDING THE SAWATCH AND MOSQUITO RANGES...TELLER

COUNTY...PIKES PEAK AND NORTHERN EL PASO COUNTY.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...A WINTER LIKE STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING LATE

SEASON SNOWFALL TO THE REGION THROUGH THIS EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 TO 8 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS

ABOVE 10000 FEET.

* IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO A COMBINATION OF

SLUSHY WET ROADS...SNOW AND ICE. VISIBILITIES MAY BECOME POOR AT

TIMES IN HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS.
