NEW YORK (AP) — Comments on the Philadelphia Eagles by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

___

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (8)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 6) — This is Eagles' season to dream.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 13) — Nick Foles looked good during preseason. Team still goes as Michael Vick goes, and he goes down too often.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 4) — 4-0 preseason could mean they're ready to make up for disappointing 2011.

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 13) — Not convinced Vick can stay healthy and play all 16.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 7) — Loaded with playmakers on both sides, but it's No. 7 who has to stay healthy. Could be Michael Vick's best — and possibly last — shot to have special season in Philly.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 6) — Eagles one of two 4-0 preseason teams. Last team to go unbeaten in preseason and win Super Bowl was 2003 Patriots

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 6) — Eagles are loaded. Now the question: What happens if/when Michael Vick is hurt?

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 11) — Looks like a determined group eager to atone for a sorry season, but Michael Vick is a PUP list waiting to happen.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 9) — Can Michael Vick stay healthy for 16 games? It is a high risk counting on him for season. In NFC East with pass rush all the teams can create, life will be tough on Vick. Defense will be better but I get sense pressure mounting in Philly.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 9) — Michael Vick returns to Vick of 2010 and talented defense comes together. Andy Reid's job on line and Eagles will respond.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 7) — Michael Vick's absence gave rookie Nick Foles chance to earn backup spot; Eagles aren't Super Bowl contender without increasingly fragile Vick under center.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 13) — Heat is on Andy Reid, but he usually responds pretty well in such situations.
