NEW YORK (AP) — Comments on the Houston Texans by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 12) — Raised eyebrows despite all the injuries.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 2) — With healthy Matt Schaub, Texans head into season as AFC's most complete team. No doubt they are best in Texas.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 9) — Dominating defense. Need to keep Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson healthy.

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 6) — Healthy and ready to roll with one of leagues best defenses.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 8) — Matt Schaub back in lineup, Arian Foster still there, and Wade Phillips' defense ready for another solid year. Texans win AFC South and have puncher's chance at Super Bowl run.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 2) — Great defense and great running back always a powerful combination.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 5) — Will win division easily; healthy Matt Schaub makes Texans Super Bowl worthy.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 3) — With weak schedule and strong roster, there's no reason Texans shouldn't contend for AFC's No. 1 playoff seed.
