Lily MacNaughton — Cross Timbers

Isabella Gilliland — Northern Hills

Kate Martin — Ida Freeman

Urban Forestry officials encourage all Edmond residents to celebrate Oklahoma Arbor Week by planting trees at their homes for energy savings, beautification, erosion prevention, wildlife habitat and numerous other reasons, Martin said.

March is a good time to plant trees, while the soil is thawing and tree buds are dormant, Martin said.
