About 200 people competed in the event that included swimming, bicycle riding and running at the park and lake, said Steve Bussjaeger, event administrator.

Lightning and a few rain sprinkles greeted Bussjaeger on his way to the Edmond lake on Sunday. But by the time the gun went off, the weather was great, he said.

“All in all, the event was flawless,” Bussjaeger said. “There was a skinned knee, and that was all the blood I saw. If that was all I had to deal with, there was no problem.”
