Ardmore police arrest a man and his mother in kidnapping, assault
An Ardmore man is jailed on complaints of kidnapping and rape. His mother has been arrested on a kidnapping complaint.
ARDMORE — Police arrested a man and his mother on kidnapping complaints after a woman said she was held against her will.
Patrick Slawson, 38, was arrested on complaints of rape and kidnapping. His mother, Sonya Slawson, 69, was arrested on a kidnapping complaint.

The two picked up a woman Patrick Slawson had a previous relationship with and took her to house on NE 3, where he sexually assaulted her, according to a police report.
The woman was treated at a hospital and released, police said.
Patrick Slawson and Sonya Slawson are being held at the Carter County jail. Bail has not been set.
