Ardmore police make arrest in stabbing death
Police say Thomas S. Houser, 20, is accused of stabbing Spencer Hales Jr., 50, to death Monday at a trailer park.
ARDMORE — Police have arrested an Ardmore man in the stabbing death of another man Monday.
Thomas S. Houser, 20, was in custody on a complaint of first-degree murder, accused of stabbing Spencer Hales Jr., 50, at a trailer park on Lake Murray Drive.

Police said Hales, a resident of the trailer park, was found dead outside his trailer about 7:45 a.m. Monday.
Houser, an acquaintance, was arrested without incident about 6 p.m. in Ardmore.
Court records indicate Hales was nearing completion of a 15-year suspended sentence on a 2000 conviction for indecent or lewd behavior in Oklahoma County.
Charges have not been filed, and police continue to investigate.
