Ardmore race is wide open
As incumbent steps aside, focus is on business, education.
ARDMORE — The mayor of Ardmore and a familiar voice on local radio are seeking the open House District 48 seat, one of the key legislative battles this year.
Both Republicans and Democrats think they can win the seat. Democrats outnumber Republicans nearly 3 to 1. However, a Republican, Greg Piatt , has been elected from the district the past 10 years.
