Are you ready for back and forth temperatures - again?

From the National Weather Service, Norman:

“Temperatures will be cooler Tuesday with highs in the mid 30s to mid 50s.

“Winds will be fairly light at 5 to 10 mph.

“Wednesday will be mild. A cold front will move across the region, dropping temperatures

by 20 to 30 degrees for Thursday.”

From the National Weather Service, Norman area forecast discussion

today (Monday): “Dry air and unusually warm with north winds will give

very high fire danger over much of central and western Oklahoma today.

The rest of the week will see temperatures vary from cold to warm with
Tuesday and Thursday being the colder days. Fronts without rain
will pass today, Wednesday, and Saturday. The mid-level flow will
remain northwest over oklahoma, but the bulk of energy with mid-
level short waves will be to the north and east of the state. The
cold airmass will be transist, lasting just about a day.”

Following is the forecast for Oklahoma City from the National Weather Service, Norman:

M.L.King Day Sunny, with a high near 62. Light northwest wind becoming north 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

Tonight Clear, with a low around 28. North wind 16 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Tuesday Sunny, with a high near 40. North wind 7 to 17 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 28. South southeast wind 7 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 54. South wind 6 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 25.

Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 32.

Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 19.

Friday Partly sunny, with a high near 37.

Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.

Saturday Sunny, with a high near 53.

Saturday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 33.

Sunday Sunny, with a high near 58.
