Arkansas' Berna SEC freshman player of the week
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — The Southeastern Conference has named Arkansas women's basketball player Calli Berna as the freshman player of the week.
SEC officials said Monday Berna has helped the Razorbacks to a program-best eight consecutive SEC victories, including wins over No. 24 South Carolina and Auburn.
Berna's three 3-pointers in the win over Auburn on Sunday was a career high.
