Associated Press Published: April 24, 2012

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas' Sebastian Cappelen has been named to the European team for the 2012 Palmer Cup.

Officials announced Tuesday that Cappelen's selection is his second in as many years and is the third consecutive year a Razorbacks men's golf team member has played in the event.

The European team for the Palmer Cup consists of eight players, three of whom played on the team a year ago when the United States won 13-11. Cappelen went 3-1 last year.

The United States has won the past two Palmer Cups and leads the all-time series 8-6-1.
