The Oklahoman took a very informal poll on who will win the national championship game and why. The unofficial tally: 27 voters said Florida, 21 said OU.

Alabama: Florida 31-28. "Tim Tebow and the team is better than OU." Marne French, owner, Harry's Bar, Tuscaloosa.

Alaska: Florida, 20-10. "Florida has better defense and offense." Woodrow Almond, Refrigerator Tech, Down East Saloon, Homer

Arizona: Oklahoma, 24-21. "Sooners better running game and quarterback plus Bob Stoops as head coach." Rickey Kishbaugh, Sports Information Specialist, Arizona Republic

Arkansas: Florida, 35-31. "Florida can score early, and Big 12 defense is down." Robert Turbeville, Copy Editor, Arkansas Democrat, Little Rock

California: Florida, 28-21. "Florida has been in this type of situation before." Ramon Borunda, Police Officer, Southeast Los Angeles Police Department

Kentucky: Florida, 31-17. "As much as I'd like to see OU win, I think Florida is going to blow them out. Tebow is just too good." Lexington, Andrew Johnson, Management Student

Louisiana: Florida, 31-21. "SEC defenses are too fast, OU is good but Florida is too fast." Lake Charles, Jacob White, marketing student, McNeese State
