Arrest made in fatal shooting of 25-year-old man in Oklahoma City

Gang investigators Tuesday arrested a man in the homicide of Suave Stacker, Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

Oklahoma City police gang investigators arrested a man in the homicide of Suave Stacker.

Stacker, 25, was shot about 11 a.m. Aug. 15 in the breezeway at the Hillcrest Green Apartments, 3209 SW 74. He was taken to OU Medical Center, where he died about 11 p.m.

Gang investigators tracked suspect Michael Lee Smith, 27, to Northwest Expressway and W Wilshire Boulevard, where he was taken into custody Tuesday night during a traffic stop, Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

Wardlow did not have further details on the investigation.

Smith was taken to the Oklahoma County jail, where he remained Wednesday, a jail official said.
