Arrest made in killing of Oklahoma mother of abandoned baby

ST. LOUIS — A suspect has been arrested in connection with the killing of Ebony Jackson, whose body was found in the trunk of a car in St. Louis days after her baby was found abandoned at an apartment complex.

ST. LOUIS — A suspect has been arrested in connection with the killing of Ebony Jackson, whose body was found in the trunk of a car in St. Louis days after her baby was found abandoned at an apartment complex.

Police said Wednesday that a 40-year-old man was arrested. Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce was still reviewing the case. No charges have been filed.

Three-month-old Donavan Prom was found in an interior hallway of a St. Louis County apartment complex in January. He was unharmed and a frantic search began for his mother.

Jackson's body was found in the trunk of her own car on a desolate St. Louis street days later.

Jackson is a former resident of East St. Louis, Ill., who was living in Oklahoma City at the time of her death.
