Arrest made in quarterback stabbing

Police have made an arrest in connection with the Sunday morning stabbing of Delaware senior quarterback Trevor Sasek, according to Philly.com.


The site reports Michael J. Creed, 25, has been arrested on complaints of assault and possession of a deadly weapon.

Police said Sasek suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen during a fight.

Sasek has played in 13 games over the last three seasons, with three starts. In 2011, he was sidelined by a knee injury, according to Philly.com.
