There is an Old Masters feel to figures emerging from very dark backgrounds in most of the work in the "Life and Other Attempts” two-person show at the state Capitol. The exhibit by Enid husband-and-wife artists Shane and Sara Scribner , who founded a studio and gallery in Enid two years ago, is on view in the second-floor Governor’s Gallery.
