Art show, sale set in Lawton

LAWTON — St. Paul's United Methodist Church will hold its annual art show and sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 910 NW 38.
Among the items for sale and display by local and state artists will be oil paintings, pottery, handmade jewelry, baskets, watercolors, acrylics, American Indian flutes, woodworking, papier mache, fused glass jewelry, stained glass and mixed-media pieces.
Also on display will be antique quilts from Antiques by Helen and hand-carved religious items from Israel.
United Methodist women's, men's and youth groups will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Entertainment on Saturday will include performances by the Cameron University brass and guitar ensembles, Suzuki Strings, Central Middle School vocal music, Sweet Adelines, Comanche Nation Youth Group, Jennifer Long and Ken McAdams playing bluegrass instrumentals, Tim Nevaquaya on American Indian flute, and others.
A percentage of the proceeds from the annual art show will benefit the church's missions and outreach projects.
