NORMAN — "Eclectic Collection,” an art show featuring art and poetry by members of the Thunderbird Artists Collective, will open Saturday at Winan's Fine Chocolates and Coffees, 207 E Main St.

A reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. and will include a poetry reading at 8 p.m. The Thunderbird Artists Collective is an affiliate of Thunderbird Clubhouse, a nonprofit agency in Norman that helps adults living with and recovering from mental illness to achieve social, financial, vocational and independent living goals.

The artists collective supports emerging artists, fosters collaborations and development of member artists and champions innovation in the arts.
