Profiles of Life: Naomi Greaser
Naomi Greaser, 58, was known around the North American Insurance
Agency for cheering up the place, a workmate said.

Harriet Garms, who worked with Naomi at the North Classen agency
in Oklahoma City for 2 1/2 years, said Greaser "was a friend to
everybody."
"One of the men in our office said she was always good for a
laugh, and that said it perfectly."
Naomi was found dead near her Bridge Creek mobile home, which
she shared with her husband, David, a trucker who was on an
out-of-state delivery.
She performed various accounting functions in the insurance
agency, skills she undoubtedly learned from her college days at
Valparaiso University.
"She was a very nice person to work with, and she was very
dedicated," Garms said.
Naomi was known for her kindness and for her cooking.
"She would do anything for children," longtime friend Kim Myers
of Newcastle said. "For anyone's kids, she was always there. Naomi
and her husband would do anything for you.
"Once when we had plumbing problems, they let us stay with them.
She had one of the biggest hearts, and she was always smiling. She
always found the good in people."
Myers said Naomi loved to cook, and she enjoyed entertaining her
friends. She was known for her made-from-scratch spaghetti sauce
and other treats such as brownies.
Garms said Naomi was always quick to offer a cooking tip. "She
gave me a recipe for a seafood dish, and I will always cherish it."
She also crocheted and was interested in American Indian art.
When Naomi wasn't working or entertaining, she read the Bible,
Myers said. She was a member of the Lamb of God Lutheran Church
in Tuttle.
