She will be remembered as a loving mother who was active in
civic and church activities. Hogan, who came to the area in 1981,
was involved in Bible study, was a Girl Scout Leader and
volunteered at Parkview Elementary School, which was heavily
damaged by the storm.
"My dad and his brother were going through the wreckage and
trying to salvage things" at our home, said Kelly Hogan, Linda's
oldest daughter. "My uncle's wife commented on finding all these
children's books and toys and photos from when we were babies. It
said a lot about my mom and how much she must have loved her children."
Linda Hogan loved to work with kids, said Dennis Warren,
assistant principal at Kerr Junior High.
"People will remember her as a hard-working, caring, kind person
that was willing to help out at our school in any way," Warren
said. "She was a people person... truly enjoyed the kids at the
school."
Hogan assisted Warren with the school's fund-raising events and
decorating for special events.
She is survived by her husband, Will Jr., daughters Kelly and
Karen, mother Jane Rosendahl, five sisters, a brother and numerous
other relatives.
"She'll be missed and loved by all," Warren said.
